Orthopedic Rehabilitation & Movement Specialist
Dr. Yeonju Nam is a board-certified physical therapist with over 10 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, including 7 years of clinical practice in Seoul, Korea and 3 years in New York. She holds advanced certifications in Movement System Impairment Syndromes, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy — training that allows her to identify the true source of pain, not just treat its symptoms.
Dr. Nam believes lasting relief comes from changing how the body moves. Many of the aches that appear with age — stiff shoulders, nagging back pain, unsteady balance, poor posture — are not simply "part of getting older." They are often the result of years of compensatory movement patterns, muscle imbalances, and alignment issues that can be corrected with precise, individualized care.
Through detailed analysis of each patient's posture and movement patterns, Dr. Nam develops personalized treatment plans that reduce pain, restore healthy alignment, and rebuild strength and stability from the inside out. Her gentle, hands-on approach is especially valued by women navigating the physical changes of their 50s, 60s, and beyond — helping them protect bone and joint health, prevent falls and injury, and stay strong for the activities and people they love.
Having guided countless patients back to pain-free living, Dr. Nam is deeply committed to one goal: helping you move well, feel strong, and live fully — for decades to come.
